Launchpad brings multi-step work into a single conversation — using the data, campaigns, segments, and templates already in your account. Describe what you need, and Launchpad handles the stitching.

Be specific upfront

Include the metric, scope (campaign, trigger, template), and time window in your first message. The more specific your prompt, the better the result.

Do: "Show me click trends for every Business Loans trigger in promo campaigns from the last 14 days" Avoid: "Show me my campaign performance"

Keep time ranges tight

Shorter time windows are faster and usually more useful. Widen the range only when you need a broader view.

Do: "Analyze email performance for the last 7 days" or "Compare last week vs. the prior week" Avoid: "Analyze all of our campaigns"

Set context early

At the start of a complex session, share your audience, key attributes, and email styling conventions. This helps Launchpad use the right context from the start.

Do: "Our audience skews homeowners 30–55. Our PL templates use {{firstname}} and {{offer.rate}}." Avoid: Jumping straight to the question without context

One objective per chat

Keep related work in one chat — analysis that leads to a segment, or a segment that feeds a campaign. Switching to something unrelated midway pollutes the context set at the start.

Do: "Analyze re-engagement campaigns, then create a segment from the results" Avoid: "Analyze re-engagement campaigns, then create a welcome email template for new signups"

Set account-level context once

Add your team's conventions, preferred attributes, and template standards to Account Instructions. Launchpad applies this context to every conversation automatically — so you don't have to repeat it each time.

Do: "Our emails always use {{firstname}} with fallback 'there'. Use 'last_purchase_date' for recency." Avoid: Repeating the same styling and attribute rules at the start of every chat

Here's where Launchpad helps most — pick a use case, copy the prompt, and try it in Launchpad.

Analyze & understand

Instead of pulling separate reports, filtering date ranges, exporting to spreadsheets, and building charts manually — ask once and get the breakdown in chat.

Compare channels or campaigns without spreadsheets

Compare engagement for [email] vs [push] over the past [90 days]. Break down by day of the week and month.

Skip the docs — ask Launchpad directly

Does the [7-day] requalification window for event-triggered campaigns start after the user enters or exits the journey?

Find funnel leaks without building five reports

Run a purchase funnel analysis for the last [30 days] — from page load to purchase. Identify the biggest drop-off points.

Surface deliverability problems early

Trend unsubscribe rate and spam complaints for the last [90 days]. Call out any spikes and which campaigns are the biggest contributors.

Segment your audience by engagement in seconds

Give me a breakdown of customers by last email engagement. Bucket into [7, 14, 30, and 60+] days.

Export analysis as a PDF or presentation

Analyze the top [10] campaigns by click rate for the last [30 days]. Summarize key trends and insights. Export the results as a PDF.

  Shareable outputs

Launchpad can return summaries, charts, and visualizations in chat. Ask for a report, dashboard, PDF, or presentation when you need something you can share.

Build audiences & segments

Describe who you're looking for instead of manually configuring filters. Launchpad turns that request into segment logic using the attributes and events in your account.

Describe the audience, skip the filter builder

Create a segment of customers with [2+ purchases] in the last [12 months], lifetime revenue [$1000], but no purchase in the last [6 months].

Target non-engagers without manual queries

Create a segment of users who were sent an email but did not open or click in the last [4 days].

Layer conditions on segments you already have

Create a segment: members of @[segment_name] who clicked any email in the last [30 days] but have not purchased in [60 days].

Clone and adapt instead of rebuilding

Clone @[segment_name]. Add an AND condition for customers active in the last [7 days].

Explore first, then build from what you find

What's the size of my [emailable audience]? Split it by [gender]. Now show me the send volume for each over the last [6 months].

Note: Each segment is created with the requested conditions and an audience count. Review the logic before activating.

Draft campaigns & content

Skip the blank page. Launchpad can wire complex multi-step journeys, configure campaigns, and draft HTML emails using your existing assets and branding. Everything requires your approval before it can be saved — nothing goes live without you.

  Start from a sketch

Upload a photo of a whiteboard, a notebook drawing, or a rough flow diagram, and ask Launchpad to build it. Describe what you need — "create the segment, emails, and campaign from this sketch" — and Launchpad reads the visual, creates the assets, and wires the journey.

Wire a journey in minutes, not hours

Build a [3]-wave re-engagement journey for users who didn't open an email in [4 days]. Wait [2 days] between each step. Send the next email only to non-openers.

Set up a campaign without touching the UI

Create a one-time campaign using @[template_name] for @[segment_name], scheduled for [Friday, 9 AM].

Draft an email with appropriate recommendations

Create an abandoned cart email showing the product added to cart. Use the appropriate recommendation scheme for related items.

Reuse what you already have

Create an event-triggered welcome series for the [Signup] event. Use our existing email templates.

Create or update shared assets

Create a shared content block for [product recommendations] that I can reuse across campaigns.

Review & improve

Use Launchpad as a second pair of eyes on assets that already exist — templates, campaigns, and journeys. Ask for the diagnosis first, then ask for the fix.

Get actionable feedback, not a generic rewrite

Review @[template_name]. Suggest improvements for clarity, hierarchy, and CTA placement.

Diagnose what's hurting performance

Analyze @[campaign_name] for the last [60 days]. Explain what's hurting performance and what to change first.

Audit hundreds of templates in minutes

Open all live campaign templates and list which ones use the [attribute name] variable.

Review a journey from a screenshot

[Attach a screenshot] Review this flow and point out where users might be dropping off. Suggest what to test.

  Compass

Compass surfaces weekly insights on the Launchpad home screen, including trends in volume, engagement, conversions, and list health.

Click Explore with Launchpad on any insight to start a conversation with that context already loaded. From there, ask Launchpad to explore further or keep working from that starting point — for example: "What's driving this drop in open rates? Show me the campaigns contributing most."
