You can import historical customer data for orders, events, and so on, in CSV format into Blueshift to help build a better profile of your customers.
To import historical data, contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
Consider the following points before you import any historical data:
- Not all events are a good candidate for historical uploads. We recommend providing purchase data and other events (subscription start/end, course enrollment, and so on) that may be relevant for segmentation. This allows Blueshift to compute key Lifetime Stats for segmentation.
- Ensure that the timestamp reflects the old/actual date of the event. If no timestamp is available, then Blueshift considers the event with as current with today's timestamp.
Prepare a .csv file with each transaction/order as a separate row.
