Set in-app template properties

As you design your template, from the Properties tab, you can edit the template name, organize it under tags/tag folders, set campaign behavior properties, and configure where in the app you’d like the message to show up.

Display the message

Configure where the message is to be displayed:

  • In-app only (default)
  • In-app and mobile inbox
  • Mobile inbox only. The message is delivered silently to the mobile inbox and users can check the messages at their convenience.

Display the in-app message

For messages that are to be displayed within the app, you can configure where in the app the message should be displayed.

  • On any screen: The message is displayed immediately.
  • On a specific screen: Specify the page on which the message must be displayed.

Campaign behavior properties

With campaign behavior properties, set the guidelines for using the template in a campaign. 

Do not message the user if any of the recommendation block(s) are empty The message is not sent to the user if any of the recommendations that you added in the template do not have any product recommendations.
Do not message the user if the external fetch encounters an error or does not return any data The message is not sent to the user if the API call used for fetching additional content for your email returns an error.
Do not message the user if any of the products in the event is not available in the catalogs The message is not sent to the user if any of the products that are tied to the triggering event are not available in the catalogs.

Campaigns

The Campaigns section shows any campaigns that use the template and the status of the campaigns that are using this template.

Organize your marketing content by adding tags to your templates.
