Netcore provides powerful APIs that you can use to send, receive, and track emails. You can integrate Netcore with Blueshift to send emails to your customers as a part of a campaign journey.
Tracked events
With Netcore integration, we can track the following:
- Clicks
- Opens
- Delivered
- Drops
- Bounces
- Soft bounces
- Spam reports
- Unsubscribes
Note: You must first set up a webhook in Netcore so that Blueshift can receive messaging events.
Prerequisites
Before you can set up integration with Blueshift, you must have your Netcore account set up.
Complete the following settings in Netcore before you set up integration with Blueshift:
Set up your Netcore account
Before you add an adapter in Blueshift for integration with Netcore, you must have your Netcore account set up. You will require the API key for the integration with Blueshift.
To obtain the API key, sign in to your Netcore account. From the Dashboard, go to Settings > Integrations and copy the API key.
Create event call back in Netcore
In order to get events metrics from Netcore pushed into Blueshift, you must add a webhook callback in Netcore.
To add a webhook in Netcore, complete the following steps:
- Sign in to your Netcore account. From the Dashboard, go to Settings > Webhooks.
- Add https://api.getblueshift.com/api/v1/messaging_events/d75ed6ad-71c1-457a-9b23-6ecbd29e3daa as the Global API.
- Click Add webhook.
Set up integration
To set up Netcore integration with Blueshift, complete the following steps:
- Sign in to the Blueshift app, and click App Hub in the left navigation menu.
- Go to All Apps, search for, and select Netcore.
- You can also go to Email Apps and select Netcore.
- Click Configure to view all the configured adapters.
- Click +ADAPTER to add an adapter.
- Add a Name for the adapter. If you have multiple adapters, the adapter name helps you to identify the integration.
- Provide the following details for integration that you saved from your Netcore account:
Field Description API Key Specify the API Key that you saved from your Netcore account. From Name Specify a name that is displayed on the From field of an email. You can override this value in the trigger that you create for a campaign. From Address Specify the sender's email address. You can override this value in the trigger that you create for a campaign.
BCC Specify the email addresses to which a copy of the email must be sent.
Use a comma to provide multiple email addresses.For example:
johndoe@blueshift.com,janedoe@blueshift.com,doejohn@blueshift.com
Note: These email addresses are not included in the BCC field of the email that is sent to the customers. If you want to include the email addresses in the BCC field of the email, contact us at support@blueshift.com.
- Click Save to add the adapter.
Next steps
- Create an Email template for your messages.
- In your campaign journey, add an Email trigger. On the Email tab of the trigger, go to Send Settings and specify Mandrill as the App and select the adapter that you just created.
