LINK Mobility is a multi channel, real-time communications platform offering SMS, Whatsapp, RCS and other solutions. The company has over 20 years of experience, has a strong local presence in over 30 countries and is used by over 47,000 international brands. Our integration with Link Mobility allows you to send SMS messages to your customers using your Link Mobility account.
Supported message types
The Link Mobility SMS app in the Blueshift App Hub supports only outbound SMS messages at this time.

Tracked events
With the Link Mobility SMS app in Blueshift, you can track the following stats for your SMS campaigns:
- Sends
- Delivered
- Bounces
- Clicks
Additionally, when a user unsubscribes from your SMS campaign, Link Mobility will automatically add them to a blacklist so that even if you subsequently send an SMS to the user, it won't get delivered. Blueshift will sync this blacklist with your customer profiles database on a daily basis so that you always have the latest information on a customer's SMS subscription preferences from the Blueshift platform.
Prerequisites
Before you can configure the Link Mobility app on Blueshift, you must first set up an SMS Hosting account with Link Mobility.
Once you've set up your account:
1. You'll need to set up an SMS Sender, which is a phone number or an alphanumeric sender ID to send SMS notifications. You can do so on the SMS Hosting platform from Campaigns → Senders → SMS Senders
2. You'll then need to copy the API auth key and secret. You can do so on the SMS Hosting platform from Developers → API REST, HTTP, SOAP
Note
It is important that all customer phone numbers you upload to Blueshift are saved in the E.164 standard.

Enter the custom domain for shortened URLs. This is the domain that will be used to mask links for tracking purposes. The domain must be setup as a CNAME record in your DNS. The CNAME must map to either links.getblueshift.com (US or Rest of the world) or links.eu.blueshift.com (EU region) based on your Blueshift login URL. SSL is required for any link masking domains. If you are unsure which domain to setup in your DNS please contact your CSM or support@getblueshift.com. For example, if you custom domain is hooli.com and the original link is hooli.com/product-updates/january-2023, the shortened link could look like hooli.com/4wesktjv. |
Next steps
- Create an SMS template for your messages.
- In your campaign journey, add an SMS trigger. On the SMS tab of the trigger, go to Send Settings and specify Link Mobility as the App and select the adapter that you just created.
