You can invite users and manage their permissions by navigating to Account Settings > User Management.  Admin users can also resend Blueshift account invitations to users who haven't accepted prior invitations yet. You can access the the User Management tab here.

  Note

Your account comes with a specified number of seats, that you can see under the User Management tab. You can reach out to sales@blueshift.com to purchase more seats.

User Actions

You can use the actions menu for a user to complete the following tasks:

  • Resend invitation to a user who has not accepted an invite.
  • Deactivate a user to free up a seat.
  • Activate an inactive (deactivated) user.
  • Archive a user.
    • When you archive a user, the user is removed from the User Management tab.
    • The user is also removed from the 'author' filter dropdown lists on the Blueshift platform.
    • You can view archived users by using the 'archived status' filter on the User Management tab.
    • You can also Unarchive a user if required.

Add Users

You can invite a user to your account and assign a role to the user from the User Management tab. You can assign the user a default role or a custom role that you have set up.

Default Roles

There are several default roles available in Blueshift:

  • Admin - full access.
  • Manager - everything except view User API key and provisioning users.
  • Author - can only access Creatives menu.
  • Analyst - view only access.
  • Operations - similar to manager, except cannot access user data (no segment export, view user profile, access detailed user level campaign activity etc.).

The following table lists the default roles available in Blueshift and the permissions for the roles.

Custom Roles

You can view and create custom roles with specific permissions from the Manage Roles tab.

  1. Click + Custom Role to add a custom role.

  2. Specify the permissions for the role.
  3. Save the role.
  4. You can now select the role and assign it to a user from the Manage Users section when you invite a user to your Blueshift account.
