The Reports tab in syndication provides detailed insights into your audience syncs. This tab has two sub-sections: Syndication Activity and Visits. These sections offer powerful metrics to help you track and optimize your audience performance.
Important highlights
-
Reports tab:
- The Stats tab has been renamed as Reports (from the January 2025 release) for all syndications.
- The Syndication activity sub-tab in Reports displays the same statistics previously shown in the Stats tab.
-
Visits sub-tab visibility:
- The Visits sub-tab is visible only when a UTM campaign parameter is configured during the syndication setup.
- If the UTM campaign parameter is not configured, the Visits sub-tab will not appear. Once it is updated, the Visits sub-tab will start displaying data.
- For syndications launched before January 8, 2025, the visit data is available from January 8, 2025.
- The visit data for newly launched syndications is shown from the launch date onwards.
Syndication activity tab
This section provides an overview of users added to or removed from the destination platform during each scheduled syndication run.
- Chart options: Switch between line and bar charts to visualize user additions and removals.
- Data filters: Use the date and frequency filter to view syndication activity for a specific time range.
- Export CSV: Download a summary CSV file for the selected date range.
-
Table details (columns):
- Date of the scheduled run.
- Customers added: Customer added to the destination.
- Customers removed: Customers removed from the destination.
The syndication activity is updated according to the syndication schedule.
Note
After users are pushed to the platform, Blueshift does not receive data on audience matches from the destination (except for Google Ads). This limits visibility into platform-side activity.
Visits tab
This new sub-tab tracks user engagement by reporting visits attributed to syndications with UTM campaign parameters.
- Chart options: Switch between line and bar charts to visualize user additions and removals.
- Data filters: Use the date and frequency filter to view syndication activity for a specific time range.
- Export CSV: Download a summary CSV file for the selected date range.
-
Table details (columns):
- Date: The calendar date.
- Cumulative audience: Total customers added minus customers removed since syndication started.
- Visits: The total number of unique customers who visited on a particular day.
- Cumulative visits: The total number of unique customers who have visited since the syndication started.
Based on the system time, the Visits report is updated daily at the end of the day. Data reflects stats tracked from the start of the day up till the end of each day.
A few key points to note
- Best practice: Use unique UTM campaign parameters for each syndication to accurately assess visits.
- Loop completion: Ensure the same UTM campaign parameter is used in both Blueshift and paid media campaigns' CTAs.
