When you set up an import task you can set up notification preferences. You can also download the Error report for any task that has records that were not processed.
Notifications for import tasks
When you set up an import task, you can set up Notification Preferences to send a notification email to the specified email addresses when there is a change in the status of the task or when a certain percentage of records fail during import.
Task status and Error report
For an import task, the status tool tip provides additional information about the last execution status for each active task. Color codes indicate the success or failure of the last import.
- Green indicates that all records in the last import were imported successfully.
- Yellow indicates that partial records in the last import were imported successfully.
- Red indicates that no records in the last import were imported successfully.
For any task where all the records were not processed, you can download the Error report from the actions menu.
Errors
Here are some of the errors you might encounter when you import catalogs into Blueshift. For more information required fields and data formats, see Catalog Attributes.

| Title can't be blank | For catalogs, the title is a required attribute. Add the title for the item. |
| Product ID can't be blank | For catalogs, the Product ID is a required attribute. Add the Product ID for the item. |
| Title is too long (maximum is 255 characters) | The maximum characters allowed for an item title is 255 characters. |
| Brand is too long (maximum is 255 characters) | The maximum characters allowed for an item brand is 255 characters. |
| Main image is too long (maximum is 500 characters) | The URL for the main image is too long. The maximum characters allowed for the URL is 500. |
| Item URL is too long (maximum is 500 characters) | The URL for the item is too long. The maximum characters allowed for the URL is 500. |
| parent_sku is too long (maximum is 64 characters)| | The maximum characters allowed for the parent SKU of an item is 64 characters. |
| Item URL can't be blank | The Item URL is a required attribute. Add the Item URL for the item. |
| Main image can't be blank | An image is a required attribute for an item. Add a URL for an image for the item. |
| Category is too long (each entry can be maximum of 255 chars) | The category name can be a maximum of 255 characters. |
| Category can't be blank | The category is a required attribute for an item. |
| msrp is not a number | The value for the MSRP of an item must be a number. |
| price is not a number | The value for the price of an item must be a number. |
| inventory is not a number | The value for the inventory for an item must be a number. |
| url should be start with http or https or www | The URL for an image or web_link must start with http, https, or www. |
| Start Date is not in ISO8601 format | The start date for an item must be in ISO8601 format. For example, "2017-08-08", "2017-08-08T17:42:32Z". |
| End Date is not in ISO8601 format | The end date for an item must be in ISO8601 format. For example, "2017-08-08", "2017-08-08T17:42:32Z" |
| Header Mismatch | Header fields mapping does not match. Confirm the mapping for the header fields. |
